Competitive Governance

The Free Market, and ability to innovate, without red tape, is what makes companies successful. The government needs the same ability. Currently, we are handcuffed with red tape and partisanship. Every State is different, every town is different, every neighborhood is different. Smaller governments, who can innovate, adapt, and analyze the needs of the local people will flourish. Competition in government is essential for innovation. Neighborhoods vs Neighborhoods, Cities vs Cities, States vs States. The freedom to explore different legslation and tax stratiges through smaller governing bodies is essential to our position as a leader, and model, for the Free World.

Incubate Ideas

It goes without saying, we would not be here today without the many failures of the past which we have built upon. Governemnt today thinks it needs to provide the best solution, each party thinks it's solution is better than the other guys. Instead of fighting for one large solution, why not let local governments try different ideas, and like companies, let other governments adopt the ideas that are attracting the most people. The right policies will rise to the top.

Federal Government

The role of the Federal goverment should be limited, and simple: Protect our Freedom.

The Federal Governments size and scope could be drastically reduced eliminating all benovolent budget items like healthcare, social security, welfare. All of which can be supplimeted with free market solutions like insurance, proper retirement planning, and non-profit and philanthropic endevors.

These changes need not be taken rapidly, but strategically phased out over years to ensure quality of life for those dependant on the existing programs.

James Madison said it best: “I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.”

Budget Breakdown

State Government

The State Government should be allowed to explore any leglsative or tax strategy they wish. If people dont like the leglsative or tax structure of a state, they can either elect new officials, or move.

For NH, we need to start looking for ways to reduce State Spending and limit future spending, focusing on ways for the free market to provide the desired solution.

Cities and Towns should take the lead in solving the issues of the local community.

Happy to debate and explore all tax strategies, with more options, trial and error, the best solutions will make themselves known.

State Sovereignty

Local Government

Of the three levels of government Local Government should be the most active. Towns can best address the concerns of their citizens.

If cities and towns desired, they could further break down the governance of their people by empowering neighborhoods to come together to solve issues they see locally.

Happy to debate and explore all tax strategies, with more options, trial and error, the best solutions will make themselves known.

The freedom to innovate with different legslation and taxation strategies will provide a plethera of options for citizens to choose from. Im my opinion, they strategies that take the least out of a citizens pocket and allow them the most freedom will be the ones we see replicated and improved upon.
