No harm, no crime is a good rule of thumb. We incarcerate too many people for doing something illegal like possessing a plant. It's time for a reform of the judicial system.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are not as important as Effort. We need to focus less time seperating people into small groups and more time focusing on merit, ambition, and effort. People are not equal, some are better than others at certain things. A person should not have a benifit, or hinderance applied to them based on anything other than the results they produce. Skin color, gender, political leaning, religion... none matter to a truly just, and fair, people. We need to remove divisive language from our legal framework. Humans should be referred to as humans.
If you make something illegal, more people will put a vail of mystery around it and want to try it. We need to educate people on the actual adverse results from drugs and alcohol. We need to teach kids how to define personal success early on in life, and teach them what it takes to make it happen, and what potential road blocks to expect along the way. Decriminalize and Educate... that's the answer. Look at Portugal and The Netherlands.
You can get 10+ years in jail for owning a piece of metal that makes it safer when firing a gun. If another human being was not harmed in the process, a crime has not been comitted. Running a red light, when no one else is around is putting your judgement above that of a brainless electronic timer. We need to cut back the "you cant's" and go back to common sense, forgiveness, and 2nd (and 3rd) chances for victimless crimes.
We need less people in prison, and prisoners need to cost the tax payer less money. Prison sentences should be fewer, and length of stay should be shortened if the people has been reformed and can contribute positivly to society. Prisoners should have to work while they are there, paying for the money it costs to house and feed them. The community has already suffered once for their actions, why make us suffer again financially supporting them.
Here is a blanket question that can be applied to all of my views. Is it restrictive or liberating? If it's restrictive or burdensome, I'm most likley against it. Is it freeing or liberating, allowing a person the freedom to choose? I'm probably for it. There are only a few areas I think government could (possibly) be helpful: Defending our Freedom, and providing low interest capital for research, infrastructure projects, and education.
If we continue to allow public fourms like Facebook, Twitter, and Google to censor information, we will lose the ability to think critically.
Free, SpeechThe right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. Gun legslation that is in direct conflict with the Second Amendment needs to be nullified immediatly.
Save LivesLegalize & Educate. I may not agree with your choice, but I will defend your freedom to choose. Through education, we can win the war on drugs and save precious lives.

Save the PlanetWe need to mind our own business, unless there is a threat to the US, or when an ally needs support and can show the citizens of that country financially support the request for help.
Help Those in NeedThe Free Market, limited government intervention, transarent pricing, increased competition and Health Savings Accounts are the building blocks our health care system desperately needs.

Free our FinancesNo harm, no crime is a good rule of thumb. We incarcerate too many people for doing something illegal like possessing a plant. It's time for a reform of the judicial system.
Get RealRestrictive Legislation needs to support the views of the vast majority not a simple majority. My proposed "Live Free or Die Act" will help solve the partisan legislation issues we suffer from.
Live Free or DieA country without national defense depends on other nations to keep it safe. It is in the best interest of this country, and the world, for America, the land of the free, keep maintain worlds strongest military.
Ensure FreedomGovernment funding has proven to expidite innovation. In the 60's we invested 10% of our budget, in 2019 it was 2.8%. Together we need to agree on percent and allocation is best for our future.
Go FurtherEducation and Planning... We need to help younger people establish retirement funds early in life, and help the poor later in life through charity and philanthropy; not federal handouts.
Live BetterGovernment bonds can be used in appropriate ways. Deficit spending is a detriment to our nation. We need to control government spending and work agressivly to reduce the national debt.
Keep MoreWelfare has been the single largest contributor to the oppression of Americans. In 2020 welfare programs were the largest part of the federal budget coming in at 24.2% of total spending.
Keep MorePart of the plan to reduce government spending is to increase philanthropy. We need to show the world we are ready to put our money hard-earned money and invaluable time towards causes we truly believe in. Only with a charitable heart will we be able to reduce our dependence on the government.
Take Pledge Learn More The 1% PledgeInstead of dinner out this week, how about investing in your future and the future of your family for generations. We can only make the changes we seek if we are activly pursuing them. Donating to get help a fiscally conservative, freedom loving, "you do you", candidate elected is one way you can help.
That's not a knock on sushi... you get the point. Instead of spending money on frivolous things like an electric massager for your dog, or that self winding yoyo. Spend your hard earned money to help elect someone who is trying to keep more of it in your pocket.
Donate NowAmerica does not need to be destroyed and re-created from scratch. What we need is to go back to the basics where life liberty pursuit of happiness are the focus; where government is small, taxes are low, and freedom to innovate and create are high. We need to put the power back in the hands of the people and take it from the federal government.
